Finshing the Crosstown CD now. Added great sax and keyboards to some songs may add a new song to the list. Working on my new project Songwriter Blues. The music here is blues where the rubber meets the road. It will sit you down like a baby.
Band came to an end. Getting out now playing solo.
New song "Roll On, Roll On." Interesting. Tried to write a song and couldn't. That challanged me, so the next day I wrote this one. Trying to slow down my songwriting. We've got plenty to work on. lol
New song in studio "Big Dream" This one I just talk it. Every song must be fresh. That's the key to good songs.
Scouting for places to play.
Recording three new songs in studio.
Right Places, No More; Blues Love; Monday Morning.
Working at putting a band together. Rick and Rick are with me. 5 piece now.
Dog Town came to an end.
NEWS:
Looking forward: Writing new songs that are more main stream blues or JJ Cale, John Lee Hooker type for new CD later this year.
Charles (Fish Fry) will put the music into rotation on KCUR Friday and Saturday 8-12PM.
EMAIL:
Charles Haddix (Fish Fry):
Thanks for playing "He's the Pretender" Being on the Fish Fry encourages the guys in the band and those that have contributed.

I'm finishing up 8 more songs at the studio. I'll send them to you when I get them done in a CD. CD is titled "Under the Blues Sky." I now have 20 original songs I can play out.
Dog Town is getting back together when we find a bass player. We should be out playing sooner than later. We're not positioning ourselves to be touring or playing a lot for the present. I'm out several times a month solo or with Gil and Rick(harmonica).
It was an ego booster for the guys getting played twice on KCUR Fish Fry with Charles Haddix. Haddix said some good things about Dog Town and my writing/singing.
I played lead guitar on "Alibis", but when I play with Dog Town I turn that over to Gil. Everyone has a job to do. I can't do it all.
I'll post this on Top CAt.
Thanks
Ron McManaman
